Bouna Mbaye – Post-Colonial Racism Confronted: Youth Uprisings in France & The Global Implications

Bouna is an organizer and activist. Bouna was born in Senegal and grew up in the suburbs of Paris; and Bouna joins today from France.
Bouna is a member of The United Front of Immigrations and Working Class Neighborhoods (FUIQP), which is an anti-colonial, anti-imperialist organization founded in 2012 which seeks to bring together activists and groups that are committed to empowering immigrants and descendants of immigrants with (post)colonial background and people living in the most impoverished neighborhoods in France. The FUIQP is also organization committed to supporting people in the Global South struggling for their liberation and emancipation, especially in countries that are still under the grip of French imperialism and (neo)colonialism.
Bouna is also a member of the Pan-African League Umoja (LPU). Pan-African League Umoja founded in 2012, and is an international Pan-African organization which seeks to bring together individuals, groups and organizations that are committed to achieving the Unity, Independence and “Renaissance” of the African Continent by helping build a Federal State on the mother continent (the “United States of Africa”), which is the most advanced form of Pan-Africanism.
The Pan-African League Umoja is a federal organization which has several branches on the continent (especially in West and Central Africa), the Caribbean, Western Europe and North America.
